L-Methionine is an essential amino acid characterized by its sulphur content. 

It is necessary for the synthesis of the amino acid cysteine, precursor of glutathione, an important enzyme that neutralizes liver toxins. 

It also participates in the dissolution of fats.

Recommended dose: As a food supplement it is suggested to take 1 to 3 capsules a day half an hour before meals.
